Originally from Pennsylvania, Andy felt the call of the mountains and moved to Colorado for graduate school in 2009. He and his wife, Alyssa, currently live in Grand Junction where they enjoy taking advantage of all the outdoor activities, scenery, and mountain biking trails that Colorado has to offer. Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Susquehanna University where he contributed to natural products research involving the isolation of medicinal compounds from St. John’s Wort. He went on to complete a master’s degree in nutrition (with an emphasis in functional foods and bioactive compounds for health) from Colorado State University, where his research involved vitamin A deficiency prevention. After graduate school, Andy has worked as a nutritionist for a major natural food and supplement retailer as well as a weight loss center. His scientific background and passion for health promotion led Andy to Ubiotic, where he is able to apply his inquisitive research mind to the formulation of our products. Having a strong interest in health promotion and education, Andy is also currently pursuing a doctoral degree in public health through Loma Linda University.
Also originally from Pennsylvania, Greg has spent most of his life pursuing his passions through opportunities that blend creativity, engineering, and business development in an innovative environment. His bachelor's degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Entrepreneurship from the Pennsylvania State University built a solid foundation to further sharpen his cross-functional engineering skill-set. Fueled by professional development experiences and a continual desire to learn, Greg has excelled at being a team member and leader that brings concepts to fruition as tangible products or implemented processes. He has had the opportunity to learn from and to lead teams through operations management, engineering, product design, supply chain, and business development in many professional settings. These experiences have provided versatile knowledge throughout the development-to-commercial launch process. Prior to Ubiotic, Greg was an Operations Program Manager helping launch new products for a major biotechnology company in San Diego, CA. Additionally, he pursues creative passions through music recording and technology, composition, and performance. Greg enjoys being surrounded by people, activities, and aspects of life that help make it healthy, joyous, fulfilling, and exciting. He has embedded these values at the very core of Ubiotic Health.
